Our Staff

Tom Palen's official title is "unpaid kennel help" and he has a t-shirt to prove it. All around kennel help, puppy wrangler, dog care assistant, groomer, fill-in animal care, landscaper, and supportive care giver scrape the surface when describing his varied capabilities. All Greatful Dogs wouldn't stay in existence without him. Tom also does therapy dog visits and is currently working with Lark (pictured) his third therapy dog.

Meet Latigo. Latigo is on staff as of March, 2014. He's a 20 year old Quarter Horse Gelding who helps with distractions and socializing, introducing city dogs to some country fun.

Image

Sully is a new addition to the staff. He's a 9 year old Mustang pony. He will be assisting Latigo in introducing dogs to horses and teaching them how to behave around horses. Napoleon is from a wonderful rescue in Southern AZ, Care For The Horses.

T's Black Canyon Silver Star AKC PR16788404. We call her Lark. Lark is now 8 years old and she's a real star addition to our staff. She works in the puppy playdate section of All Greatful Dogs and has been on staff since March of 2013. Lark is a silver Standard Poodle.

T's Quintessential Blk Canyon Journey AKC PR16788401 is Lark's brother. Quinn came to us at 7 weeks of age and fit right into the staff pack. He is a bit more outgoing than Lark and is a big help with puppy newcomers as well as most ages of dogs. In spite of an early set-back of a broken leg, he's been a wonderful addition to the staff. Quinn is a black Standard Poodle and 8 years old. He's already well-traveled with trips to CA and TX to learn many new things.

Jelly Belle Starr is a 9 year old Spanish Water Dog who's been on staff a year and a half. Jelly does meet and greets with dogs, helps with puppy classes, works to help evaluate dogs, and helps calm newcomers. She's been a wonderful addition to our staff. She owes her early training to Marc Goldberg of Force Free Dog Training and her first owner (still loved by), Kathy Kinsella of Chicago, IL.

Shanti is a 7 year old Spanish Water Dog. So far she hasn't quite figured out her place on staff, but she currently makes a great "introduction" dog for newcomers.

Roux, 2 years old, a Papillon and Copper, 3 years old, a Toy Poodle, are our "smidgen crew".  They are in charge of the cute factor as well as helping other dogs adjust to small dogs.
